Biography

Dr. Allison Canavan is a dedicated and compassionate obstetrician gynecologist who takes a comprehensive approach to women’s health, supporting patients through many stages and aspects of women’s health.


With a particular passion for both routine and complicated deliveries, Dr. Canavan is committed to providing the best care, guiding patients through preconception care, infertility related care, and later guiding expectant mothers through pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care. In addition to obstetrics, she has expertise in benign gynecology, offering both office-based care and advanced treatment options, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.


Dr. Canavan's goal is to deliver the highest quality care, marked by respect and compassion, whether in the office, the delivery room or the operating room. She strives to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.


As a parent of two young children, Dr. Canavan understands the joys and challenges of parenthood, bringing both professional knowledge and personal insight to patient care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, travel and spending time with her family.
