Ramin Bagheri, MD

Ramin Bagheri, MD, specializes in spinal surgery, including cervical spine disorders, minimally invasive surgery, complex thoracic and lumbar spine reconstructive surgery, spinal disc replacement surgery and corrective surgery for spinal deformities including scoliosis.

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Bagheri actively engages in research and has been involved in many studies aimed at improving patient’s outcomes from surgical and nonsurgical treatments. He has published many journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts and given lectures regarding various aspects of spinal surgery.

Originally from the East coast, Dr. Bagheri has enjoyed his relocation to San Diego, California, where he has resided since 2002. When he’s not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, various sports and designing surgical instruments and other devices.
