Athanasios Foster, MD

Athanasios Foster, MD, has been practicing medicine since 1978. As a family medicine physician, he provides complete health care for the entire family.

Dr. Foster strives to provide the highest quality, comprehensive and personalized care to each individual and finds that open communication maximizes his efforts to enhance each patient’s health.

He has been the chairman of the department of family medicine at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla since 1983. In his spare time he enjoys travel, photography, music and bicycling.

Dr. Foster practices family medicine at Scripps Coastal Medical Center Solana Beach, formerly known as Scripps Coastal Medical Center Del Mar.
