Scot Brewster, MD

Scot Brewster, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and has served on the medical staff of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for more than 25 years. His areas of expertise include cardiothoracic and thoracic surgery, including open and minimally invasive approaches to mitral valve repair, aortic valve replacement, and Cox and modified Maze procedures. In addition, he specializes in thoracic surgeries, including lung and mediastinal tumors.

Listed as one of San Diego’s “Top Doctors” by San Diego Physician Magazine, he serves as a principle investigator with the PARTNER trial for beating heart aortic valve replacement.
