Varuna Raizada, MD

Varuna Raizada, MD, is an OB-GYN who specializes in female urinary and reproductive treatment and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Raizada is fellowship-trained in vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. She performs surgical and outpatient procedures to treat female urinary and bowel leakage, uterine and vaginal prolapse, recurrent bladder infection, painful bladder syndrome, sexual pain and genital skin problems. She also has completed research in the use of 3D ultrasound for pelvic floor injuries and bowel leakage.

Dr. Raizada believes gynecologic and urinary issues drastically impact quality of life for women of all ages. She works with patients to educate them about treatment options and to find the best possible treatment plan, including collaboration with primary care physicians, pelvic floor physical therapists, pain specialists, colorectal surgeons and urologists.

When not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, needlepoint and caring for her family and dog.
