Nusha Nouhi, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who specializes in health psychology, which focuses on how social, psychological and biological factors together affect health and illness. Dr. Nouhi provides counseling and support to people living with diabetes through the Behavioral Health Integration Program at the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute.
Dr. Nouhi takes a patient-centered approach to care. She is respectful of and responsive to each patient’s individual preferences and strives to ensure that patient values guide clinical decisions.
In her free time, Dr. Nouhi enjoys farmers’ markets, traveling, baking diabetes-friendly desserts and spending time with family and friends.
