Make sure your children are healthy, safe and ready to learn

Get your kids off to a good start by helping them stay safe and healthy on campus and in the classroom. From planning healthy lunches to getting recommended vaccinations and managing stress, there are several ways you can prepare in advance of the first day.

Join Scripps Clinic family medicine physician Mark Shalauta, MD, to learn how to help get your kids on the right track this school year. Dr. Shalauta will provide information on the COVID-19 vaccine and other recommended vaccinations, hygiene and COVID-19 safety, managing back-to-school anxiety and fitting in physical activity and extracurricular activities. There will be plenty of time for questions. Spouses and adult children are invited to participate.
